Save Instagram recipes before you forget them.
That Reel you sent yourself at 1am? Save it to DishVault and turn it into a real recipe with ingredients, steps, and a grocery list — not just another bookmark.
From Reel to recipe card
Paste any public Instagram Reel or post link. DishVault reads the caption and any structured recipe info the creator added, then formats it into an editable card.
AI fills in the gaps
When a Reel just shows cooking without a written recipe, DishVault drafts ingredients and steps from the caption and on-screen text. Treat it as a head start, then edit to match what you actually want to cook.
Organize by anything
Group recipes into collections like 'Saturday Brunch' or 'Family Dinners.' Filter by cuisine, prep time, ingredient, or tag. Find that one Reel you saved two months ago in two taps.
Build the grocery list
Add a recipe to your grocery list and ingredients merge automatically — three Reels that all call for garlic become one line on your shopping list, scaled to your serving size.
Frequently asked
Do you support both Reels and regular posts?
Yes. Public Instagram Reels and feed posts both work. Stories and DMs are not supported.
What if the post is private?
We only read publicly accessible content. If a post is private or behind login, DishVault can't pull it in — paste the recipe manually instead.
Will the original creator be credited?
Yes. Imported recipes link back to the original Instagram URL as the source so you can revisit the post and the creator gets the click.
Can I import a screenshot instead?
Yes. You can upload a screenshot or photo and DishVault will OCR and structure it as a recipe draft.
How accurate is the extraction?
Accuracy depends on how much recipe info is actually in the post. Posts with a written recipe in the caption are near-perfect; videos with only visuals produce rougher drafts that benefit from a quick edit.
