3. AI Processing

DishVault uses artificial intelligence (AI) to extract recipe information from URLs you provide. When you import a recipe:

• The URL content (text, metadata, and in some cases video frames) is sent to a third-party AI service for processing.
• AI extracts structured recipe data such as ingredients, steps, and cooking times.
• Extracted data is stored in your account and is not used to train AI models.
• If AI extraction fails, you are notified and can enter recipe details manually.

4. Third-Party Content Sources

DishVault allows importing recipes from third-party platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and recipe websites.

• Imported recipes display the original source URL and platform attribution.
• DishVault does not claim ownership of third-party content.
• We store extracted text and metadata but not full third-party media files.
• Original creators retain all rights to their content.

5. Sharing of Information

We do NOT sell your personal data.

We may share data:

• With service providers that help us provide DishVault, including hosting, analytics, authentication, payment, AI-processing, and advertising providers.
• If required by law.
• To protect our legal rights.

6. Advertising, Cookies, and Google

DishVault's free plan may display advertising provided by third parties, including Google. Advertising providers may use cookies, IP addresses, device or browser information, and similar identifiers to deliver, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure ads.

• Google may use advertising cookies to serve and measure ads based on a visit to DishVault and, where permitted, visits to other websites or apps.
• DishVault and advertising partners may use identifiers to prevent fraud, cap how often an ad appears, understand ad performance, and provide personalized or non-personalized advertising as allowed by law and your choices.
• You can manage Google's advertising personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com and browser cookies through your browser settings. Where consent is legally required, advertising cookies are subject to the consent choices presented to you.
• Upgrading to DishVault Pro removes DishVault ad placements, though essential cookies and service analytics may still be used to operate the service.

We do not give advertisers access to private recipes, grocery lists, messages, or other private account content for ad targeting.

7. User Rights (CCPA-Style)

You may:

• Request access to your data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.

• As long as your account is active.

9. Children's Privacy

DishVault does not allow users under 13.

If we discover such data, we will delete it.
